S4 PFC starts and dies

Hi, I have an 88 T2 and I'm having trouble getting my car to idle. I bought a 3rd gen PFC and adapter harness from banzai racing along with anything else to make it run. Everything is installed and I need help with the maps.

My tuning knowledge is very limited and I cant get it to run for more than about 3 seconds. The car has a stock turbo, stock port, and 550cc primaries and 720cc secondaries. It also has a wide band. My O2 F/B is off. Any tips or tricks are great or even a next step.

thank you.

Do you have a datalogit? What map sensor are you using? what base map?
Post up screen shots of the sensor/switch screen and monitor screen without the car running. Can't help you at all without any data

Your map sensor is set up wrong and the TPS is not wired correctly

For the Map sensor do I just need to change the scale and offset? And does it matter if the tps is only a 3 wire plug?

For the TPS connect FRT to 3F as it states in our installation instructions. Then at normal operating temp set the TPS to 1.00v. The voltage is maxed out on the map sensor which means it is not connected.

And that is not our base map.

Ok thank you I'll go try those out!

And is it because I have the base map reading in base x inj? This is the only map i have installed. Am I just looking in the wrong place?

Ok so I'm having trouble getting my MAP sensor to get hooked up I check the wire that goes to the computer and it has continuity. Is there a wiring diagram for the MAP sensor so I know where all those wires are supposed to go?

I also hooked FRT to 3F and it did nothing. I looked up a diagram of what wire came from the S4 tps and it was 2G. So I hooked FRT to 2G. The sensor VTA1 use to have a problem until I hooked FRT to 2G. Now that light is off and it reads the tps on VTA1 and 2.

sorry about the long response time. Havent been able to work on the car with school.

So I'm still not understanding what is wrong with the MAP sensor. I've checked every wire. I have ground. I have a 5v source and an output but it still doesnt read anything. Is there anything I'm missing? Is my scale and offset wrong? It's on option 1 at 6100 scale I believe and 0 offset.

Bad sensor, bad wiring or bad PFC. Do you even have a 3 bar map sensor?
