Power FC and a universal harness??
I am installing a 1988 Turbo 2 engine in a 1984 FB. I was planning on transferring the FC wiring harness to the FB and using the stock computer at first.
I would really like to run an FC since I have a friend that is good at tuning power FC's.
My question is, do they make a universal harness for the Power FC? I would rather start from scratch and build a harness using factory type ends, than use a 25 year old brittle FC harness.
Any ideas??

Maybe you could ask them to leave some of the connectors off so you can make them to size.
Rywire : Mil-spec Tucked 13B harness (FD3S/Rx7) - $649.00

The PFC is model specific for plug and play use so there is not a universal harness or any engine harness. The one linked above is for an FD which will have the wrong connectors for a S4 TII engine. It also only has 2 of the 4 connectors which means that if you install an FD engine harness you will also need an FD chassis harness for the 12V power, map sensor, ignition, etc that are not on the engine harness.
If you have the S4 harnesses open them up, weed out the emissions stuff you are not going to uses and re wrap them. If you are comfortable enough to make a harness from scratch then this should not be to difficult. Then just buy our S4 adapter kit and install the PFC APEXi Power FC Adapter Kit (86-88 RX-7)

Once I feel all the wiring is sorted in the FC, then I will swap over and use the adapter you mentioned.
For now, I need to figure out the needed vs. un-needed wiring.
