Please Help! NO Sequential Transition

Let me start by saying that I have searched the 3rd gen section for my issue. The problem is, I have tried every recommendation for solving my issue (NO secondary transition), but to no avail.

We have checked and re-checked vacuum hose routing, as well as the hoses themselves. We have replaced the twins (twice), replaced both vacuum and pressure chambers, replaced crv and ccv, and ensured proper operation of the tca. I also purchased the custom solenoid kit from the forum group buy, and have gone over the vacuum routing at least ten times. Still nothing from the second turbo.

The question I have now is, could this be an issue where my PFC is not "communicating" the proper message to the solenoids, causing my secondary turbo not to come online?

This is the only thing that seems to make sense at this point. My tuner says he loaded the "sample" map that came with the Datalogit, if that tells you anything...?

List of mods:

PFC
Dp/resonated midpipe/RB catback
550/1300's
Profec b spec 1
Greddy SMIC
Supra fuel pump
Intake

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Purchase or borrow a datalogit. Post the map you are using. Open the software up. In the monitor window select "sensors" and "advance." Do some testing in 2nd and 3rd gear on the street. Post the data.

Thanks for responding. We (my tuner) have a Datalogit, and all tests have been on a dyno. I will get the map and post it though...

Have you tried another PFC to insure you did not have a PFC failure?
Time to go full non-seq!

Did you check the setting on the pfc to make sure you have it in seq. mode. sorry if this is a dumb suggestion.

Not a dumb question at all. In fact, it's a very good question, as I have no idea where to look for this setting. Can you tell me?

I was under the impression that any base or "sample" map such as the one that came with the Datalogit, would be in sequential mode by default...?

Under the etc menu (I think off the top of my head) one of the submenus has options for things such as O2 sensor feedback as well as sequential turbo control.

I also had problems with my secondary transition. It wasnt pfc related but it was still a PITA. If the pfc is on seq. and everything looks to be routed well you mike want to check the black pressure tank between the outlet pipe and the UIM. One of the two vacuum lines had popped off and caused me headaches. It caused transition to be off and on mostly off. Point is you may want to pressure check or make sure your vacuum lines are attached. Good luck.

Almost 1.5 months and no results.
Was this another embarrassing OE moment?
