PFC reads boost when car isn't on.

car will not start, PFC reads .66 on boost. PIM volts are 4.00 I've tried 3 different MAP sensors. Any way to re-calibrate the map sensor, what do I do? still learning FC-dataloggit, so keep it in lamiens for me.

Under tab 3 look at 'offset' and 'scale.' The offset value is used to zero out the map sensor when the car is off. The scale value is used to adjust the unit size-so the pfc reads every pound of boost as 1lb instead of 1lb+/-. What kind of map sensor are you using?

PIM of 4.0 is way too high with the car off. Mine reads around 2.6. I was going to suggest that you make sure you have "1. Normal" selected in the PIM Volt screen (pg. 24), but that wouldn't explain the abnormally high voltage. Still, make sure it's selected. The default values for the stock MAP sensor should be Scale: 35086 and Offest: 3947.

You tried three MAP sensors and they all showed 4.0 volts for PIM?

I would say you have a wiring problem in your car.

In other words, someone has hosed your wiring somewhere.

Daniel, do you have the datalogit? If not, then you can't view the numbers that they are talking about and I also PM'd you about...the scale and offset values.

You don't by chance have an Apexi AVR that you just unplugged, do you?

Reason why is because when I unplug mine it throughs the boost sensor for a loop and reads 4.4volts (still need to track down the wiring and figure out how it is connected because I don't use it or need it). The car floods it's self at this point.

Sorry just a thought and suggestion.
Good Luck
