pfc and oil metering pump

is there a way that the pfc will show me a problem with the mop like the stock ecu and limp mode?
in the pfc monitor-sensors window there is a vmop field . also at the advanced mode there is an " oil " field (is this for omp oil?) . are these all i need to know about the omp ?

if i remove it and go with premix will it be ok?

last concern i have is the amount that the mop injects.if i premix the oil amount willl follow the fuel injection. in decselaration there is no fuell. is it an issue if i let of the gas pedal at the 7000 revs and the engine revs woith no fuel-oil?

leave it alone or remove it?
i am mixing already 1/100 amount for security reasons and i do not bother to mix every time i refuel.is this overkil with a mop?too much oil can do harm?

i think the ideal would be to run the omp with pcf and parhaps add some oil at the settings screen but this ONLY if there is a sighn in pcf that the omp is OUT OF ORDER.im i right?
thanks

Since many PFC engines are running pre-mix without a MOP, it must not care.

Chuck, can you please explain what these "vmop" and "oil" fields means?
thanks

VMOP: voltage of the metering oil pump. The higher it is, I assume it pumps more.
Mine is 1.19 with only the key turned on. Never looked at it while driving.
In the DL, OIL is the same thing.

Since the PFC runs OK without the MOP, then if you run it and it fails it should not care either.
Thus no warning.

You will not get a warning of any kind. If you monitor the sensor screen the VMOP will light up black if the voltage is out of range, but that is it. Yes, 1/100 premix with the OMP is way too much, that is the mix ratio that is used without, if you are just looking for a safety margin then run 1/400.

^What he said. If there is a problem with the pump (or at least the voltage on it), it should illuminate in the sensor check screen. The voltage changes according to load, idle and other factors.

There is something else to watch out for. We recently had a car brought to the shop that lost compression, everything seemed to be in working order. We found that the OMP had failed, yet it was still showing proper voltage. The lines were empty, causing improper lubrication to the seals and loss of compression. We are rebuilding the engine now and the customer will be premixing.
