No number for knock on commander

I hear people talking about a number for their knock reading on the commander. All I have is a black bar that gets longer with more knock. Is there a way to change this in the menu?

chris christopherson,

You can hit the 'up' button to see the peak reading, then 'down' to toggle back

Stay sexy!

I can't remember if it was 1 channel or 8 channel. But one of those will show the number live instead of that black bar. Peak can be misleading at times. You might see a higher than normal knock at no-load speeds. Or the better option would be is to get a datalogit and see the knock cross referenced to that area of the map.

I typically get a feel for a 'normal' peak knock reading, then make sure the readings don't go above that. On my last setup knock never went over about 50.
