Hey the box Graphics match the Commander box cover. So it lines up with the PFC box too. Boy o boy what will they think of next? I thought that the boost kits were pulled for some reason?

What the hell is the PFC boost kit? Same thing as the AVC-R except it uses the Commander to control it?

That cost $400?!?! I hope you're joking....

yeah it costs $400 but it lets the PFC see more than 17.5psi for fuel and timing besides boost. if you get AVCR your pfc will only see 17.5psi maps for fuel and timing because it is limited to stock map sensor. on another thread bacon posted his reply from eric hsu engineeer at apexi and 3 possible solutions. 1) send pfc to xs and get an apexi 3bar map sensor 2) send pfc to xs and get generic 3bar map sensor 3) buy pfc kit and be able to run up to 20psi maps and not gave extra gadjets inside car. if you want maps expanded to 2bar you have to send pfc to xs to use powerxl software. that is straight out of the horses mouth

Is it necessary to get the pfc boost controller if you are running stock sequential with basic mods. (dp, exhaust, intake, mp) ? Can I just use the pfc???? Thanks.

all you need is a pfc to control boost up to 17.5psi. the whole reason i purchased a boost kit is because i have the xs t04s kit coming and want to run and tune above 17.5psi more like 22psi at the track. a pfc without boost kit cannot see above 17.5psi or 1.2bar. 17psi should be plenty for stock sequentials
