Noob question....

I just bought a PFC. My mods are CB, DP, streetported engine, and soon to have an Apexi intake.

First of all, are the wires indicated here in the lower right hand corner the correct wires to "cut" in order for the PFC work correctly on an Aspec FD.

Like I said, I just got my PFC and I'm a bit hesitant on installing it right away and waiting to have her tuned. From what I understand the base map for the FD3S4 ECU's are good for DP, CB, Intake and IC. And I've read that I should retard the timing a bit for my streetport(how much??). I have Dale's FAQ on the PFC, but I wish the board had a FAQ sticky that was a bit more informative. However since I'm so new to PFC's, I don't know if that's even possible.

So am I safe to intall my PFC now, or should I install the intake and wait to do the PFC install. Or does anyone have any quick pointers on how I should retard the timing and compensate for the lack of an upgraded IC while using the base PFC map. Thanks!
