Power FC New version of PowerFC FAQ
Not sure if this is the same version but here goes:

Curious if anyone knows if you can use a series 8 power fc on a series 7 car. They're both the 16-bit ecu and that other aftermarket ecus kind of lump the series 7 and 8 together. Just wondering if anyone has done this or knows if it can/ cannot be done.
Also, checked the faq's and didn't see anything about it specifically.

Series doesn't matter. Its yellow rectangle plug or white square plug. There's only 2 actual versions of the pfc. Whichever version is for your car is the version you use. They're universal to their associated plug type vehicles.
