i need my car tuned and I'll pay any reasonable amount All it does is idol and it does that kinda bad. if i touch the gas at all it dies I just need to be able to drive my car to the dyno. i don't trust myself to tune it since new motor and turbo cost me about $5000 total. I will also pay for your gas one way.

Bad idle and the car wanting to die... Have you checked if the MAP sensor hose is connected?

 

umm doesn't sound like it could be an entirely tuning problem unless you went in and messed up half the values in your car or adjusted the rev limit to like 1000rpms or something.

 

yea I think my PFC was programed for a 3 bar MAP sensor and i have the stock 2 bar so i get no reading. I know mine is good cuz i have 2 MAP sensors and they both do the same thing. The guy before me had a T78 kit to I asume that he had a 3 bar map sensor. So I'm waiting for my Datalogit so i can change it to 2 bar again

 

Gee. That information would have probably been useful in your orginal post, don't cha think? The fact that you have never run the current engine / turbo configuration together....you bought the car from someone that already dinked with the map...etc.

you need to just load in the stock PFC map, as long as you dont get under boost you can drive it fine, it'll be fine for break in and getting you to the dyno

Check in there. There is a map with an Apexi single turbo kit. I assume that is the RX-6. It also lists similar mods to yours.
