AB MAP Sensor Question

Hi i have a 89 turbo with a apexi PFC now stupidly i threw out the aftermarket Denso 3 Bar Map sensor that came with the car, now i know i am able to get another one but its $180 shipped from the states, can i possibly just use the stock Sensor even if i have an GT35R and going to be running 12-14psi, larger injectors and so on and so forth, the stock one is still 3bar right?

Dont ask me why i threw the sensor out, just not enough studying i guess haha

Thanks

The stock S5 sensor can't be used, it is also not a 3 bar.

If you have a datalogit you can install our replacement 3 bar sensor and harness adapter. scroll down to the replacement parts APEXi Power FC Adapter Kit (89-91 RX-7)

OK so the stock MAP sensor is limited to Stock Boost? and the replacement 3bar with harness is only 105? that's great also i think i lost my IAT so i may have to pick that up as well from Banzai. How long roughly does it take to ship to Alberta Canada?

No. Email sales if you have questions about products that have nothing to do with the PFC.

Ok so i bought that adapter + 3bar sensor the plug that came on the adapter did not fit the plug on the harness at all so the previous owner must have installed a different plug to fit that denso/apexi map sensor which i did not catch since the rewire was done very nicely unlike everything else he wired in. so my question is since its only 3 wires how hard would be to cut the plugs out and just solder the correct wires together

come on, nobody has spliced in a different map sensor into their cars harness? this would really help me as im already $165 into this map sensor and to get that Denso one back it would be another $220 shipped to canada

I already told you that you could wire it in via email as a matter of fact I told that you need to, since someone chopped off you factory sensor connector.

sorry what i was trying to say is what stock wires colours carry the ground, 5V and Map sensor signal? their is a very helpful little word document file floating around the forum for wiring in this same GM 3 Bar but for the FD it gives the proper wire colours and a little diagram, I was wondering if there was one like that for the FC?

Thanks
