I got JDM Series 8 RX7 which has installed PFC with serial number on the photo. I tried connecting FCC3 Commander but it is stuck on APEXI logo. APEXI website seems to suggest it should work. Does anyone know which commander will work with given serial number?

Bonus question: I connected new serial number PFC (it is starting from FD3S5) and my cooling fans are on all the time, any tip to fix it?

 

You have 2 issues

one: non compatible commander with the pfc

two: the fd3s5/fd3s 9 power fc while it plugs in to any of the 96-02 models, it is really made for the 96-98 cars. The fan control is different on the chassis harness .

so you need a different power fc and a compatible commander.

From research I made, I need FCC2 ZF for my FD3S9908 PFC. Is anyone able to confirm that?

 

If you get the oled commander it is a universal unit.
i dont recall which one would work on the fd3s 9 you have but dont you want to get the pfc that is right for your car anyway?

 

I have two PFC FD3S 9 and FD3S5. The first one works fine but I don’t have Commander, the second one have Fan issues.

Isn’t universal commander working only with the refreshed versions of PFC - FD3S4/5/6?
