I just bought a commander off this forum with the serial # of FCC2 ZG 000-00007.
I also have datalogit. When I load FC-Edit up and goto Settings 1 tab, on the bottom it says Program Version 2.01B. I believe this is my PowerFC ECU's version.

Is my commander compatible with my PFC?

Right now when I plug my commander into the datalogit box, all I get is the APEX logo and it just stays there. I have not tried to plug the commander directly to the PFC yet. Some threads say there could be incompatibility between versions. All really old threads. Just want to start this up because I never got any 'closure' from them.

Does anyone else have experience with this problem?

My Commander doesn't seem to work when the datalog-it is logging. It seems to stop any communication from reaching the commander. I've never had it freeze on the Apexi logo, but the commander will display whatever it was showing when I started logging (it LOOKS like a freeze, but I think it's just waiting for more data). Try disconnecting your PC and see if the commander works. It should.

It's never been a big deal for me. As long as I have ONE display, I don't care.

Even w/o connecting the datalogit serial cable to my laptop, the commander still appears to be freezing and stays at the logo screen.. =o[

 

I plugged the commander directly into the PFC (datalogit pulled out), and it still doesn't work. I believe I have a newer commander and OLD PFC.. so incompatible
