Going Back To Stock ECU....Help

I've come to a point of desperation. My FD has been sitting for 3 months since my tags are expired and my "method of exemption" is no longer available, so it looks like I need to tame down my car.

I still have all the stock parts luckly and besides the PFC, I have installed everything on my car, so I know I can get everything back on in the next week or two; However, since the PFC will definitely not pass visual it needs to go as well (pain in the ***!)

Q. Does anyone that's done this have any advise for the switch back to stock?
Q. Will the stock ECU handle my upgraded injectors, or will I have to switch those out to the stock as well?

Thanks
BTW....I hate California sometimes.

Stock ecu will control any injector as if it were stock, since there is no way of selecting a different injector size. If you are using larger secondaries it will run extremely rich, which means it will not pass smog testing.

Why will the PFC not pass visual? We have lots of customers in CA that actually pass smog testing easier with the PFC installed.

So they're going to pull your stepguard (the thing with the rx7 logo on it) and then pull your kick panel off to check if you have a stock ECU? I highly doubt the pfc will affect any visual inspection lol.

Yeah, I've always run hidden piggy back systems with my past hondas, and the one time I did try to smog it the check to see if the ECU had been tampered with.....Which suck since those cars could pass the emisions part, just not visual.

Looks like I need to pull the injectors too

Ask around on the forum here and find a more friendly inspector.

Install the air pump, drain the fuel from the tank, add back enough gas and E85 so that the resulting 5 gallon mixture is about equal to E25. Install hot plugs all 7s.
Disconnect the purge solenoid connector, adust idle so that it does idle. ALso add back a cat.
