!!! F-con !!!
Would this work good for my setup? I have RB turbo back exhaust, intake, and FMIC. I plan on getting this and getting some 720 secondaries. will this work well with 720s and my mods. Will i need to get the GCC too?
You are viewing a slightly used HKS PFC F-CON (Programmed Fuel Computer) for the `kouki`/`after minor change`/Series 5 Second Generation RX-7 equipped with the 13B-T engine (89-91). The item will not work with the zenki/before minor change (86-88) turbo engines.
The current ROM is for the OEM turbine setup (D104).
The auction comes with everything necessary for installation including: head unit, harness, and boost (MAP) sensor.
The F-CON is reported to give an additional 15-35hp to your engine (obviously depending on your modifications to the vehicle). This unit is necessary before using the HKS GCC (Graphic Control Computer) and HKS IPM (Injection Pulse Monitor).
The unit is the older type pre-programmed F-CON which are still available new and still quite popular.
You can pick this $1000~ setup up for a fraction of it`s original retail pricing with RHDJapan LLC.
Everything is in CLEAN and GREAT condition and perfect working order.

might be better with the gcc to be able to tune the larger secondaries. but for what you might pay, why not just get a safc II? i had the fcon also with slight mods and decided i wanted more control rather than just a **** inside the box that ranges from 1 to 9. didnt see too much of a difference in power. i also sold the unit w/o the gcc for 125 shipped to give you some reference.

Fcon
I liked the Fcon. I Used the HKS S-AFR to make adjustments. I also have the stock chip and the HKS TO4 chip that I ran when I put my Stage 3 60-1 on. I have 720cc secondaries with intake and 3" turbo back. It ran great. I have my unit for sale with three chips (stock, T04, and a custom). There are several companies that will still burn you a rom for the fcon based on your setup. Here is my fcon https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=589416 My engine let go after 25k of hard abuse because of a wastegate failure. Other than that I loved the fcon. It is not as high tech as a stand alone but doesn't cost as much either. The SAFC is not one of my favorites, especially for the S5.

Iv Been running the F-con with gcc for over a year now and have had no probs and its only on setting 2 (goes up to 10) and on my wideband at 7k rpm i still run at 9.7 afr average so its nice and rich, i know before people tell me it needs a tune but iv only just got the wideband and didnt know i was running that rich.
It runs loverly and is a superb pice of kit with the gcc.
You will probably need a boost controler to stop ya spiking.
Im upgrading to Power FC just cause iv nothing elses to spend money on haha.
My F-con + GCC will be up for sale in the next 2 week for about £150 so keep ya eyes peeled for a bargain (comes with wiring harness so just plug and play)
BTW my mods are : HKS intake, HKS HardPipes, HKS Bov, DownPipe, Midpipe, Catback, Small ARC SMIC, Standard Twins, Samco Rats nest, Defi Water, Oil and boost gauges, Dale Clark check Valvs, Peti Fan Controler, Innovate LM-1+LMA-2 wideband, Apexi AVC-R, Apexi Power FC.
