Datalogit compatibility with IPhone or Windows Mobile

I'm considering to buy a new cell phone and the question rose if Datalogit would run on the IPhone (3G, 3GS or the new 4G) or Windows Mobile 6.1 or 6.5.

It would be great to have it as an application instead of having a big laptop in the passenger seat.

Anyone tried this ?

And you are going to use a microscope to view the small display device, and believe that you can adequately read it? Get real!

The new HTC HD2 and Iphone 4G have the feature to zoom in and out by 'pinching' so it's not that hard. I don't mean it would my tuning tool, just to keep track or make a mapping when something is wrong or of limit.

It's just an idea. I will get the phone anyway, so I rather buy one that can do it.

No need for an Ipad in my car.. too heavy

And what is having an Ipad in your car going to do for you as far as interfacing with the datalogit?

My brother got an iPad from me and is now developing for it. When Redpark comes through with the cable I'll have him write an app for monitoring/logging.

FC Edit would have to be recompiled with embedded Visual Basic to make it run on Windows Mobile. But even if it runs, the user interface would be totally useless.

Funny, the last time I was at the mac store I asked about using the Ipad as a tuning device and they told me software would have to be developed cause nothing exists at the moment. How would it interface with the Ipad? I thought it didn't have USB ports or am I just mistaken? I haven't really looked into them all that much yet.

See the link I've posted above.
Biggest problem is to get the app approved for the app store.

There are more Jailbroken phones out there then, non-jailbroken phones. I dont think the app store is a problem
