Comander got stuck on stupid!
Just the other day driving, I was looking at the water temp. on comander so I was gonna switch to se knock and other stuff, the SOB get's stuck, do whatever you want with buttons it stay's right there.
I turned of the car and flip back to ignition, now all I can se is 13b rew, I start the car, the same again, I reset the ECU by removing the neg. from the batt. for a min or 2, the same again,,,, I unplugged the ECU completely while the batt. is completely disconected, still the same after I put it back on... 13B REW, WTF!
The car seems to work fine, nothing changed to the way it worked from before.
Anyone got any idea what kind of problem this might be?
Thanks in advance,

Do you know anyone with a FC and commander?
Use their commander and see if it does the same.
Just a thought.
Check pins and all grounds.

How do I check the pins, just clean them up, sort of?
The werd thing is that I had to make my own groung for the power fc box b/c the stock brackets wouln't fit on the holes, I know the groung is good and I made sure to check that the first thing.

Hooray For Boobies!!!
Could the comander have been damaged or like stated above, bent pins (shorts/opens)? I have heard of bad/damaged commanders doing this. They say not to drop it or hard shocks/jolting. Mine is not bolted down and I am lucky I haven't broken it.
But I know when you run a laptop with datalogit and you do the trace/monitor function it locks up the comander. But the screen stays and freezes on the screen you were watching (does not go back to the "13b REW" screen). Once you stop the trace/monitor the comander jumps back to life and updates it's self. So this is is different issue that I just wanted to point it out incase we are confussing the two. But after loocking at your mods, you don't have a datalogit.
Good Luck. Try a Buddies Comander.

Right, I don't have datalogic, I was just sort of scroling through it when it froze !!!
It'll be a while till I get to see my buddy to swap comanders.
