car not learning idle

i just installed my power fc. its a brand new unit.

i did everything step by step according to dale's instructions.

i did the idle process, but my car doesn't seem to be learn it.

i tried a few times (i resested the pfc each time).

Anyone have advice?

oh and the car chokes really bad. i did the whole idle screw 1/2 turn thing, but it still wont idle right.

quick question: does the elbow have to be on while idling? i tried it with it on and with it off so i can adjust the screw.

One thing you might want to double check; make sure tha the PFC is the right model for your vehicle. In otherwords, check the Serial number and compare it to Dale's PowerFC FAQ document to make sure it matches with your model.

If it's boging down then your idle bleed screw isn't set properly. Open it up alittle. Try setting it about half a turn out from fully in.
