Hey all, I am 100% new to the pfc on the rx7s. I got my new build almost complete(hopefully.) I have a datalogit and ultimately plan on using FC tweak. Im hoping to see if anyone on here has a solid basemap on their car that is close to my setup below, so I can break in the car before tuning. I have 0 tuning knowledge, I am a total noob. I would be 100% happy to pay an expert/tuner for a very solid basemap out the gate. its just a brand new stock engineturblown efr 7670 iwg kit3 inch exhaust whole waypwr smicnew stock primaries, ffe step up w 1300idx secondaries8psi tops still has the thermowax, bacdeleted secondary butterflies

If im forgetting something, I apologize; just let me know below and I will fill it in.(disregard the edit in the picture, just uploaded the only engine bay pic in my phone.)
The stock power fc map will work fine with your set up. It will be lean in a few places because of the turbo size but it will start and drive with your set up. The injector settings for the secondaries will be easy since the instructions to do that are in the power fc manual and you can find the dead times anywhere as well.
For the break in, we can guide you on what to do to get the fueling acceptable enough to drive around safely. Every car is different so a copy paste map won't do anything for you. On a different ecu it would be a big help but the power fc is just built different 😎. It's almost like a fingerprint
Since you are new to the PFC, I feel the most important thing you should be aware of at this point is that unlike the factory ECU, the Power FC has absolutely no protection against knock, and with a lean fuel map it will happily destroy your new engine. Getting somebody's else basemap is a very risky thing to do. Although Apexi basemap is littered with hundreds of bad and unoptimized settings, it's still a good map to start using FC-Tweak on and with the Ballenger you're all set to start tuning your fuel map. Until you start tuning, keep out of boost since with that setup the Apexi map WILL run lean on boost. Basically, the earlier you start tuning the better. Unlike 20 years ago, today you're lucky you've got access to great PFC tuning tools.

A base map - when properly used as a base map - will not hurt your engine if it is treated as a BASE map. These are not to be put into boost before tuning and the amount of load outside of boost will lean surge, they will not 'knock'. Again - base maps are a starting point to start your vehicle and be relatively mobile before tuning - they are not OTS maps for your Cobb Access Point on your Subaru or the like.
