New to the power fc

hey guys whats up.

first off before anything i have read the faq's for newbs but still have some more questions

im going to be getting a pfc here in a couple of weeks.

im going to be rebuilding my motor soon as well, since i want to make some good hp out of it.

i know i need a commander

i also want to get the fc datalogic.

since i am doing my rebuild and this at the same time.
i need to run 1000 miles before i can think about taking my car info a tune.

any ideas on how i can make it safe to run ? i dont plan on running any boost what so ever!

but im going to be putting 1600cc secondaries and my 850s as primaries. is it safe to run on the "base map"

Thanks guys.

also any advice would be awesome. i am new to the pfc so im not too sure on this.

and also can i connect a wide band to the pfc or do i need a separate controller for it ? thanks guys

Do not put 850 in the primary slot as they are hard to tune for idle.
In fact do not buy any of those injecctors. Contact arghx to get PFC tuning notes.

there's really no need to go with 850 primaries. 550/1600 is fine for most setups or you could go with the 550/2200 .

An aftermarket wideband system will come with its own controller. The controller will put out a 0-5v signal that can be read by the Datalogit for tuning purposes.
