base map question

can i run the base map with all bolt-on's on stock boost till i get it tuned? i usually just cruise, but would i be screwed if i went wot? i know every car is diff. as well so just some experience or wisdom i guess. hehe

mods:
intake, dp,mp,exhaust and v mount.

i read somewhere that its fine but i want to be sure.

i also have a wideband so i can monitor it semi closely.

thanks

No, it's a lean tune and the timing is a bit advanced.

Timing is safe but fuel is lean.

if you're really worried about it, you can go into the commander and just start adding 10% across the board starting at say P14. It's a bit tedious but you could do it in 20 minutes or less. Or you could do the PIM V adjust thingie in the manual.

I assume you are referring to adding fuel by PIM Volts. PIM Voltage is the output voltage from the map sensor.

On the "base mod" map at 10psi I am seeing 12.2-12.5AFR which is a bit too lean. I saw your 350HP map has even more advanced timing, so I assume the stock mod map will be conservative at 13psi. I always thought the older "base stock" map had the timing too advanced for all the bolt ons. But I think now most everyone with the 5.xx has the "mod" map.
