plug in the sensor, selsect #2 (option 1) for PIM offset.
Now thw map sensor will read accuraty (or close to) there should be more information on better calibration if you need it.

so thats all there is to it? plug in the apexi 3 bar and select option 1 and theres no need for calibration?.. if this is the case then this is a way better deal than the gm 3 bar.

If you have a Datalogit, then changing the offset and scale for the GM 3 bar is no big job, type in a couple numbers and you are done. If you do not have one then you can install the Apexi sensor, but for the $300 price tag, you would be better off buying a DL. Just plugging in a map sensor does not allow you to run high boost, the car still needs to be tuned.

I have the newest version of PFC and it seems there are so many suggestions out there as far as offset and scale numbers go. What scale and offset would you recommend for the gm 3 bar? Thank you for your help

I calibrated one Apexi 3 bar and the values are:
45200/3300 for FD3S or 6780/3000 Univ DLs.

I also did 2 GMs:
43500/275 or 6525/275.

What exactly is the difference between the GM and APexi sensors, beside the GM costing about 1/3? Is there an advantage to one over the other?

The Apexi (Denso) is plug and play without our adapter harness. Beside that they both function the same and read up to 2 bar of boost.
