Power FC apexi 3 bar map sensor plug and play?
apexi 3 bar map sensor plug and play?
does the denso apexi 3 bar map sensor need to be calibrated like the gm 3 bar map sensor? by "plug and play" do they mean just plug it in and im good to go without messing with the scale and offset or calibration? or am i just dreaming?..... please help me out, im tryin to run some high boost, I just dont understand how to calibrate the gm 3 bar. thanks
so thats all there is to it? plug in the apexi 3 bar and select option 1 and theres no need for calibration?.. if this is the case then this is a way better deal than the gm 3 bar.
If you have a Datalogit, then changing the offset and scale for the GM 3 bar is no big job, type in a couple numbers and you are done. If you do not have one then you can install the Apexi sensor, but for the $300 price tag, you would be better off buying a DL. Just plugging in a map sensor does not allow you to run high boost, the car still needs to be tuned.
