Power FC Anyone use wideband w/Datalogit???
Anyone use wideband w/Datalogit???
Has anyone tried to datalog a wideband thru the Datalogit??? I'm interested to know how it turned out? If someone has, what kind of wideband do you have?
Thanks,
STEPHEN

Kyle and I tried it about three weeks ago with a BETA version of the DATALOGIT. We discovered 2 errors with the system then my PFC started acting crazy. This was posted under another thread. Since then to be safe, I totally re-init my PFC and reinstalled 1200 cells of data, not much fun.
I have not tried it again. He has since received the newest software with the needed fixes for our incountered problems.

Interesting, did Steve or Glen say anything about what the prob was? Do you know if the software issue has been addressed? I saw the thread where you PFC went nuts apon the installation of the datalogit but I didnt realize it was due to the wideband beng hooked up.
I want to get one but I'm wainting to hear from someone that actually done it with good reuslts before I spend a ton of $$$ and it not be what I'm expecting.
Thanks,
STEPHEN

It has the potential to work beautifully with the DIY WB. I posted the equation to convert voltage to A/F on the datalogit board and the response was that it would be incorperated into a later version of the software. This means, plug the DIY WB output voltage into one of the aux channels of the box and get A/F dataloged.
Which board did you post the question on? The Yahoo site? I'm not seeing any new posts there at all.
I only ask because I was wondering the same thing. Sort of shame the DIY WB doesn't output to 5 volts, seems like it wouldn't be hard to get it to do that, but if the DLI can deal with it via software scaling, then that's cool...

You must be a member to post on this one, and I think you must have the Datalogit to be a member.
The equation for A/F up to 14.7 is:
A/F = 1.333V^2 + 1.072V + 8.996

The only prob is the DIY WB requires skills that I dont have to build one.
Someone should build these for $$$. If someone really was good at it how long would it take to build it? Have you build one yet?
Isnt there a thread some where else on the forum about the DIY WB????? Maybe I can find someone willing to make me one for $$$.
Anyone know where that other thread is?
Later,
STEPHEN
