AEM Wideband UEGO Air Fuel Ratio Gauge (30-4110)

This is the upgraded version. Anyone know if this works with the PFC out of the box, or would I need to buy additional components? Trying to set up AFR, Boost, Water gauges and just saw they upgraded the UEGO

Hey Tom,

I was working with Xavier a while back on that same Wideband. He said it was an easy setup to the PFC datalogit--

"The 30-4110 is very simple to connect. Red goes to switched power, blue leave unconnected (serial out), black connects to chassis ground close to PFC, white connects to AN1 on FC-Box, and connect an extra wire from FC-Box AN2 to same chassis ground. Then configure Aux port AN1 0v = 10, 5v=20, and AN2 0=0, 5=5, tick AN1-AN2 and that's it."

When you fire the car up, you can double check that the Map Watch in the PFC and Gauge are reading the same AFR. If not, you may have to double check the polynomial equation to get them in alignment.

EDIT- Also wanted to add that if you have not yet purchased, look into the X-Series. That is what I went with for the faster reacting readout.

Thanks for the info. Now I just have to pull my DP and weld a bung....unless you found an alternative solution 😁.

Actually, pull the mid-pipe and have it welded right after the DP/MP joint. AEM recommends mounting the bung 18" away from the turbo manifold to avoid damaging the O2 sensor on a piston turbo car. With our cars running so much hotter, I made sure to do this just in case. Bonus as its much easier to pull the midpipe!

Great info. Removed the down cat, so this would technically be "upstream" of the mid cat/only cat like it recommended

A few of us have noticed that even good WBs with an attached gauge tends to log leaner with the Datalogit. This was also noticed at a Porsche race shop by comparing our DL reading to their O2 sensor reading.
Thus you should calibrate your DL to log the same as the WB's gauge.

I do it by inserting the O2 sensor in a large jar sealed with several layers of cellophane with tight rubber bans. Fill the jar with some gas not containing O2.
Then slowly insert air or O2 until the reading on the WB gauge is close to some target. I normally go for an AFR of 11.00.
Log and change the DL poly values so the DL matches the gauge with a linear movement by equally changing the min and max voltage values.
My WB range is 9.0 - 16.0 volts. It is a NGK AFX made by ECM.
To actually log correctly, the values are changed to 9.18 and 16.18.
