Hi.

I've got a 94 RX7. Previous owner said that was using a JDM ECU. Ran fine, but wanted to install PFC.

I'm looking at the 4 wire colors to cut for installation (for emission stuff), and the colors are wrong. For example:



4O, Blue/Yellow on the 4th connector is actually brown/black on mine.

4F (Black/Red) on the 4th connector is just straight Red.

There was no brown/yellow either -- I don't recall what color it was off the top though.

The only one that was correct was on the blue/green (3J) on the 3rd connector.

Do I cut these wires anyway?

I can't seem to find a diagram for the JDM ECU (with colors) to verify the colors from that harness.

I started the car, it was running and idling fine, but I didn't drive around -- didn't want to mess anything up.

Any ideas? Thanks!

 

I guess I'll see how badly the car runs while driving and snip the wires as necessary. If anyone has any better ideas or experience, please let me know! Thanks!!
