Some progress finally made

Well, there has finally been some progress made on ripping out the 13b. Motor/Tranny will be coming out next Monday. Before anyone says anything, yes...I know I need to clean out the engine bay. lol There is just a hint of oil/grime in there. I'm planning on using some good ol elbow grease to clean that crap out once the motor is pulled.

why did you strip the block? that was probably a royal pain in the *** leaning over those fenders taking stuff off for hours...

why not just lift the entire longblock out?

You're right, it was a royal pain in the ***, but a buddy of mine (herblenny) who is helping me out suggested doing it this way. It gives you more wiggle room to get the engine out, and my car has 4 month old fresh paint on it.

Simple Green, rag/toothbrush works wonders.... a pressure washer will really clean up the engine bay if you can borrow/rent one. Foamy engine bright for good measure

Herblenny already bought the entire driveline. I sold all the performance parts a few months ago.

Simple green was definitely on my agenda. I'll look into some foamy engine bright as well.

Thanks,
Tim
