if I was to use, let's say a 1/8th" transmission adapter, would I have to space out the flywheel with a 1/8th" spacer in order for the clutch to enguage, or even use a spacer on the the throw out bearing or cutch fork?
would bending the fork work also?

also, is there any "old school tried and tested way" to make sure the engine is in perfect alignment with the transmission while making an adapter plate?
