Engine swaps avalible...

I am looking to swap the rotary with a 4 or 6 cylinder engine so i wont have to rebuild so much and to save a little money. Tell me of any swaps(besides the corvette and LP1) that you know of. thank you

You're not really going to save money... Engine swaps designed for other cars will always end up costing more if not the same (in rare cases) due to the custom brackets required and possibly custom fabrication involved.

Check ebay or autotrader.com for one of the 4 or 6 cylinder rx-7s that pop up occasionally. ****** it up with a quickness when you do see one...those are extremely rare base models there. Anyway, get one of those, that engine is a direct swap with what you have.

The love of the Rotary is lost very easily to a rookie. No love at all. Why buy the only car that sold well with a rotary, and turn around and put a **** *** pisssd-on engine..

I love RX7s and rotarys but rebuilding it can mean mucho dinero wich i dont have. the way the rx7 looks is why i would sway a grand national motor init. gn istn looking that good. but how easy is the sr swap? is it very comon?

oh God, do NOT get a 944!!!! You've never had a car that's expensive to maintain until you've had a 944! It's unREAL how much they cost to keep on the road.

PM GNX7 about the Grand National swap......I was talking to him about it when my motor blew last year.....i decided to get a factory rebuild instead. if you wanted an SR20 then get an S13/S14.....it seems pointless to buy a car and then DOWNGRADE to a 4 banger....the only reason why a GNX is somewhat acceptable is the power you can push out of it........ V8 is another story though......a bit more weight but ridiculous straight line power... it makes no sense to put a 4 banger in there....

dude they were joking about the sr swap. get over it. if you don't have the money for a rebuild, get a complete 13b motor off of ebay and swap it in. or save your money (wow did you ever think about that one?)

if you try to swap a different motor into the rx-7, you will spend way more money than it'd cost for a rebuild kit...
