if the 7 has a good engine in it then don't do it.

if its bound for the junkyard then go ahead...

Uh... it would fit. The corvette engine is a small block chevy, just like the 350's lots of people drop into them already.

It would be tight, but it would fit.

You'd probably be better off to get an LT1 and drop in there, and use the extra dough to get 400RWHP out of the thing

wouldnt that really mess up the weight dist. i mean the rotary is so small and light and sits really far back. gets 49-51 or something like that. mabey if your only gonna be drag racing with it, but i dont even like the idea of swapping in a piston engine into a rotary car.

Actually youd be surprised at how much it really doesnt affect the distribution and handling. Ive been doing V8 swaps into small cars for years, and it really makes very little effect on the handling. I'm actually fixing to do it to my 7 in a few months here when the motor goes. I also suggest going LT1. I have a Triumph TR7 with an LT1 putting 400+ to the wheels, and its just as good around the turns as my 7 is.
