lol...okay okay I get it, guys.
If it works, it works. Great.
Up until your link, I had yet to see any reference information disproving my concern regarding airflow. Sorry?
I see the light now.
No need to turn the flames on full blast. :P
Anyways, back to the thread...

Have you ever heard a twin turbo 2J?
No offense to the OP, but they sound terrible.
3 cylinders separated to their own turbo changes the sound significantly.
They perform great, it's just the sound that's bad.

another great swap!!!
first of all great build ive been doing these swaps for years and i love em, my fc convertible was running twin greddy 18g's back in 2004 loved em got rid of them though. nothing better than a properly sized single. i see ur doing everything the right way but u havent addressed the differential and axels yet. they will break. def not as strong as the factory toyota diffs, also that big ebay throttle body tht you have there along with the 90 degree is going to be fun for you ive tuned tons of cars here in south florida and besides the o rings leaking that 90 degree will cause waves and wierd on throttle off throttle issues with the car running smooth, ive seen gains in the tourque curve just from getting a little more creative with your throttle side intercooler pipe. not bashing you at all , just trying to help out a little bit. get this thing running.

And as far as your picture goes, although IT may appear correct...The OP's IC coupler does not have NEAR the amount of curvature in the bend as your picture represents. His piping (at least in the pictures) appears much more squared off it's 90-degree bend.
I had a 90-degree IC piping elbow that came off my turbo when I first bought my FD. That was the FIRST thing to go.
Brent, the picture you posted looks more like the BLUE IC coupler used in my picture at the time, where-as the red 90-degree elbow coming off my turbo appears to be more similar to the OP's IC coupler.
I realize that the air is going to be sucked into the motor regardless, and that it's more a necessary evil and hinderance rather than an actual restriction on the air flow...but I can't help but say "Ack!" "Gah!" or "Eeerrrr..." any time I see such a sharp 90-degree bend in any IC piping..

whats a waste. if your saying that because it doesnt have a rotary i would say smart. i dont understand some people. they have things set in there heads that something is better and cant change there minds and i dont try but let me ask you something. take your 13b motor and dont open it leave it 100% bone stock and just add turbo and fuel and try to make 800rwhp or more but lets just say 800. tell me you can do that and it be reliable everyday hitting it hard everyday. i did that on a 2jzge with over 100k can your 13b do that i dont think so. one if you try to make 800 hp you going to need a big turbo that will really expose your no trq making motor and not a fun street car at all. that is what im trying not to do and the reason for this swap. a 2jz with 9.8 to 1 comp = very fun car and at 2700lbs even better. supra 3400lbs rx7 2700lbs with my setup. thats 700lbs 100lbs is said to be 1 tenth of a second faster in the 1/4 mile. thats big. this was my dream setup since i had my first 3 rotor fd that was sold. rx7 fds have to me one of the best platforms to do any swap and still look good and handle good. thats why i sold my 780rwhp sc300. and that was threw a th400 and on a mustang dyno oh and only 24psi on a 80mm turbo. so i would not call the 2jz a waste at all. every person has there thing i like 2jzs you like 13b some people like doing rebuilds others just like building finish and done. so i dont hate on no car, motor, setup becasue everyone builds cars to suit their needs.

its a nice build indeed, even though you made an MX-7 out of it
Can you get it weighed when you are done? Im curious about how much it disrupts the perfect balance of the car originally. Im curious about both axle weight distribution and corner weight distribution

How does that compare to a 2jz?
as far as the drive, and how enjoyable they are
