3s-gte in an fc... possible???
So I might be starting a new job soon with about a 21k increase in pay. with the extra money i was thinking about starting a new project car. the mk3 supra is just too heavy so i'd be handicapped from the start and the 300zx is worthless. the fc has great handling and is light weight so thats why i want to go with that.
the question is, has anyone ever experimented with putting a 3s-gte in an fc. i'm almost positive the toyota r-154 or w-58 trans will bolt right up.

why reinvent the wheel... just go with the proven LS1 swap and be on the road sooner and spend your brainpower on mods for that setup and making the chassis setup as good as possible.
thats my 2cents.

I'd rather go with something turbo powered and high hp capable. if the bottom line is i'm looking at spending 20+k on fab work and mods on an almost 20 year car then the ls1 might be the route that i will go. till then i'd rather explore this option. besides someone had to start from somewhere when they started the ls1 swaps
