2jzswap.com did the 1jz because they used the new soarer 1jz for the ( VVTI ) from what I know the kit should work for both 1J and 2J...

So how much of a power difference is there for the 2000+ soarer 1jz and the supra's 2j ?

who says 2JZ swap is almost impossible. We did it without cutting, altering any OEM FD parts in engine bay. It also uses the same GETRAG 6 speed transmission from a Toyota Supra, so whtelse? Even the strut bar is sitting where it should be, lol

the hood closes like it did on 13B.

Love to see the steering rack location as well. Once you have it driving and it is safe... then the conversion is complete. Bump steer issues can make your hair fall out!

I think once the 2j setup of Kaisar is revealed, I'm sure similar work can be done with an RB25det and finally end all the questions and give people a good alternative to lsx swaps :P

So all in all Kaisar1 we need to know how u did it

why oh why do people bother doing such a nasty job like this? actually the word nasty doesn't even come close to describing how miserable this car is...

I'm impressed and yet puzzled on why someone would do these things to some of these cars... I still can't imagine how the concept of LS1 in Evo would work out ...but then yet thats just me .

Bump it to the left!! Bump it to the right!! Bumpty Bumpty Bumpty Bump!!

I've seen the conversion done before and that is right up there with the worse ones.
The good ones have an entire new or modified stock sub frame made.

It can be the same as long as there's more than one inch of clearance with the 1JZ installed or else a hood scoop might be required.

Scoot hood is required. No moving of the steering rack at all. No bump steer correction needed. You pay for it with a hump on the hood. Not possible to use the stock hood.

I'm gonna have to retract my previous statement. That's going to be impossible to drive on city streets.
