im not really a fan of the body kit being moulded all around or the side mouldings being removed...or the engine swap...but to each their own

A Bunch of haters in this thread. Your car is clean. Nice job on the swap. If i didnt go Ls1, toyota inline 6 would of been a definite consideration.

How much hp does that beast have?

Hmmm... the torqueless bastard child of the 3rd gen Supra... Interesting choice... Well at least now you're fully prepared for a 2J swap! Lol... What made you decide to go 1J over the 2 or even the 7M?

I don't know if its just me, but my Rx-7s never let me down. I've driven my FC turbos hours away and to come back for another couple of hours right after. No engine failures for me, temperature doesn't even rise. The most I ever had was the MOP go out on me and it went into limp mode. ever since, I have gone premix to avoid that problem. Ok, it did die once on me though a long time ago, because I ran out of gas. I have raced my fc turbos hundreds of times, but they are still good to go and compression is pretty much the same. All my cars ranged from stock turbo 180whp - bnr stage 3 300whp. So I don't know about 500-600 whp, but I'd think any engine with that much power would have a lot of wear and tear and considered unreliable.

I'm not hating on your swap though. Just dropping my 2 cents of what you said. Still if you were going to do a jz swap, I would of just done the 2jz. But the engine is clean nonetheless.

The RX-7 is special cause it was made with a Rotary Engine instead of a piston engine. Putting a Piston engine in a car made with a rotary is like spitting in Felix Wankel's face. He didn't make the rotary for it to be replaced by a Piston is all I am saying. Do what you want with you 7 cause it is yours and nobody can tell you what to do with your car. The car looks great and probably runs awesome as well. I was just stating my opinion.
