I'll have to remember your screen name from now on so I don't get caught in your trap again.

none of us LS1 swapers WANT a camaro or a firebird.
those chassis just do NOT offer the feel, feedback, handling and performance we want.
but the FC and FD chassis (minus the rotary motor) do offer exactly what we want.
paired with an LS1 motor, the recipe is perfection in our eyes.
Ive even driven a friends C5 Z06 and I'm happier with my LS1FC for half the cost. the vette is as fast, rides comfier, handles better and has better accessories with power everything but I dont want that setup, because the vette also feels huge (it is!) and its just not the car I feel best inside of as a driver.
so many rotary purists dont seem to give the bare rolling chassis any respect.
thats so wrong.
I think the FC and FD chassis are due even more respect than the rotary motor.
with their racebred design and amazing oem components (4 wheel vented rotors on most cars, brake ducts in the bumpers, aluminum spindles and knuckles, etc).
its a shame some of the rotary diehards cant see past the motor. because us LS1 swappers see the entire picture crystal clear.
