Yo Post Pics Of Your Old School Rides
Congrats man! I was wondering if anyone from here picked that REPU up from craigslist/ebay. I thought about bidding since I have family in Lancaster but getting it to TX killed that idea. It had some nice parts on it like the original mirrors and stuff. How much did you get it for? Does it run OK?
It's been sitting for a while (garaged) but was able to get it going in no time. Carb needs to be cleaned and it still has the original exhaust (in damn good shape) along with the air pump (I'm guessing that they won't last long on there). Motor only has 20K since replaced (with old style rotor housings). Rust is not bad at all. It's a diamond in the rough....
Heres my '79 Mazda 323 wagon, low roof with the 'whaletail', bugeye front. Obvioulsy still in the build stage but thought id post it up any way. Has freshly built 12a bridgeport turbo block with n/a rotors, 48mm weber ida, gilmore pulleys, carter fuel pump, bosch gt40 coils, k&n filter, new everything!! Modgies are now gonna and have a set of ........ wheels (thatd be telling wouldnt it :P ), going to the painters in a couple of weeks when the panel boys have finished!!
