1973 Mazda Rotary Wagon I found last month abandoned in a field since 1991 from an engine change that was started and never finished. Last tagged in 1980...

r100 just bought

nice new project car, pretty clean, all new parts can be gotten from australia, I will probably put a 13B renesis into in along with the 6 speed, salvage car up here, the car is light so 250 hp will be enough to have fun in along with a 6.30:1 ford 9 inch in the *** of it

Great find... How much did that set you back and where did you find it?

it cost me 4700, we had it shipped from norco california for about 800 by one joke of a truck company but whatever it got here. anyway, we are either looking for a salvage rx-8 or rx-7 to get a motor and tranny out of, and hope for the best as far as shifter location, otherwise we would figure it out, anyway that would be the engine instead of the 10a. if not that a ford small block, i really really want a FD right now though, would be way better mileage than my 8 mpg 94 mustang

$4,700.00 + $800.00 = $5,500.00 Good deal!

Did it come with the 10a and tranny, or was that just the roller?...

Either way it was still a great find. Congratulations!

What transport company did you use?

Dwayne

PS What year is it?

it was just a roller, but that didn't really matter to us, it wouldn't have had a 4 speed or 10a anyway, i have enough totally original restos. it's a '71. and the trucking comapny was flexible trucking, and a ukranian trucker named sergei, but he was asking me for cash because he ran out of diesel, so i wus just like nope that wasn't part of the deal too bad.

ps i saw that you wanted a r100 hood, mine is trashed so is the trunk lid, i'll try and get you contacts of my dad's friends companies in australia, they make basically everything down there, just as you can get almost everything for classic mustangs here

That's your celica? There's a fella in Torrance that owns one with the EXACT theme, down to the "Old School Syndicate" sticker in the rear window, powered by an S2K motor.

Do Luck, The 4 is looking good.

Here are a couple of pic's of my current rides. The Brown car is 1981 Corolla that will be getting a Turbo 3TC in the future. Right now I've got a 89mm 3T to drop in it with some nitrous. Should be fun at Irwindale.

This one is my long term project. It's a 1971 Toyota Crown Wagon to go with my hardtop. I'm going to be dropping in a GEN III 6.0L with some L92 heads and a GMPP cam. After that I want to put A/C in it and put it on air bags. Should be plenty fast and fun.
