GREAT FIND.....

That's how I have found several Rx2s in my area, by just driving around and looking in back yards... Post more pics as you go......

More pictures as I start to clean her up...

The only seat with a tear. Should be an easy fix for an upholsterer...

The pictures make it look as if the paint would probably cut back and buff out pretty nice.

nice find.
I found my old rx2 after it sat for 6 years, go it running with 30 mins
of actual work done. thing ran Super strong.
Good luck with it, I would love a rx3 wagon or a repu.

Last time it was tagged was 1980. The individual that I purchased the car from purchased it and then parked it in 1991. So I would say anywhere from 15 to 26 years.

Plans are to restore it...

I have no idea other than the obvious that something happened to the original motor...

Wow! That thing LOOKS clean. Check undercarriage yet for severe rust yet, or the wheel wells?

Good luck, I wish I could just find something sitting in a field.

Finally found a replacement 12a engine for her on ebay. Picked it up saturday and have it mounted on my engine test stand. It is now ready to be stripped of emissions and then the bling bling process begins... Oh and of course this will take place after I get it running first...

Thumbs down

Still having issues!

After removing the wagons tranny and getting it "show ready", the mate up to the first gen 12a engine did not work...

I could have sworn that all the 12a rear irons were the same as far as the bellhousing hookup...
