Looks good so far, it should be 'interesting' to see how you fit in the radiator/IC and oil cooler(s) in the front of that thing

Are you just planning on a street rod or you going to be racing it in a series of some sort?

I can't wait to see finished pictures, and, hopefully, videos of it running!

looking at that rear end shot, it looks like those rear brake lines are rather short...?? I would have thought that with the wheels going up and down all the time would put undue stress on those two lines. if I recall correctly on cars I've looked at there is more slack for up and down travel. just an observation. perhaps those are just temporary ones anyway...?

I'm scheming about a 13BT in a super 7 (when I raced Solo 2 a few people had them). the lbs/hp ratio will be great on your car. is the motor staying stock?

Leigh
p.s. looks great though.

Wow

Good to see it not just me! Nice job on the rear, I'd be interested in knowing where you got all the bits for it or is it just stock fd? What size are your wheels? And we are both destined to sit in the back seat to - oh well, who cares. Good luck and keep going. My mini so far too.

Just getting together all the major parts before the build. Been doing heaps of research on parts and compatibility. In the middle of mating my Lada 5 speed to my cosmo auto bellhousing (trying to save on intruding into the interior to much) I'm going to put mine on the road and keep it looking like a mini as much as possible (except the 17's obviously). Once the motor and box are together it will be all go with the front end and chassis.
Are you putting yours on the road or just going to race it? And do you have any pics before and after the diff shorten? So far I'm using a shortened live axle because of the work involved with an independant one.
Heres a few pics of the parts so far......

WTF ... a 13B-RE . Even if you go non-seq with everything stock . You would be looking at about 300ish HP . In a car that is less than a ton with interior . You are looking at a 0-60 time of 5-6secs . What are you trying to take on ? Viper ? Elise ?
What is the car gonna be doing ?

V8s everywhere ... be afraid ... be very afraid ... haha ...

I am not sure, but I figure maybe 1/4 mile or 1 mile curcit.
300ish hp could be more. Not afraid of anything.
By the way there is a mitsubishi lancer from Trinidad
in the guiness book of record. 1/4 mile in 7 sec. with pump gas.
