Im in the process of cleaning it out,&doing the Por15 treatment in & out-there is no rust just some scale on certain spots,It needs body work(prior owner did shitty body work).Who sells weather striping for these cars&dont say search button(i already did that)&who wants to sell my some fenders?

 

http://www.metrommp.com/ has some generic parts that might work for you. there were a couple of fenders for an RX2 on www.car-parts.com when I was looking a couple of months ago. Price was not to bad.

If you want rear weatherstripping, go online to ebay....you can get full rubber kits from Australia. I got some and they were perfect. All doors, windows, trunk, etc. I believe it was around $300 shipped.

 

Good looking out guys,Whats the name of that place in Au?My car is a texas car& the weather striping is literally fried-its got original paint with some bootleg bodywork-the passenger side fender needs major work&the drivers side has a nice dent,i figured it would be cheaper for me to get 2 good fenders,Im not doing the body work(cuz i got no skills),I know fenders are out there (I called for fender i found in car.parts.com&they crushed the rx2 & it was only $65!!!!!!)

I was to late,didnt get fender,They Crushed car(a Yellow '73 rx2 4 door!!!!)she said it just got crushed recently(Thats like crushing a hemi 'cuda,because you will never see a rx2 or any early rx car in a buffalo,ny junkyard & if some dummy did junk one here it would be put in solitary confinement in yard owners house,or get picked up & over so fast it would make normal people sick!!!!!)Now I know they are not worth millions,like a old mopar that doesnt mean they are worthless,its just a rare import that has a strong following all because of its rotary engine.I was so upset I went to sleep for a little bit.
