I forgot to ask, from the inside bend of where the frame rails attach to the main frame, about what is the measurement from the mounting holes on the front brackets to the centerline of your axle. This will help me in getting my rear 4-link kit ordered. Thanks, for putting up with all of my questions, this is just a nerve racking thing to plan out.

The chassis kit I am useing completely eliminates all the frame rail up to about where your feet go. I noched the frame rail and welded the tube to the origonal frame rail at this point. I will get you some pics of this this weekend. When I pull the rearend out in about a week or two I will get you the measurements. I will also take some pics of the mod to the front struts.

Chasis engineering puts out a video about back halfing your chasis. It is not the exact same thing but the video really helps. I would buy and watch it a couple times and you will be alot better off.

Nice!

Looks awesome. I like the motor plate idea. Looks sturdy. Did you already install the brakes? I noticed the front 5 lug.

So when do I get to see picks of your super fancy front strut? I love how low your car sits in front. Is it anywhere near bottoming out the strut when sitting that low? How much travel is left? Did you find a 90/10 that worked? Whats the top secret info?

Frankinstrut

Here is a pic of frankinstrut . The car still has full suspension travel and when you set it on the ground it compresses the factory gen 1 springs about 3" and has a great feel. The struts are 5 way adjustable tokico iliumina that I found in a wrecking yard. The setup is really simple plus it gives you a lot more tire clearance.

wow your car rocks.

What di you do paint wise. I mean you painted the engine bay, trunk, and interior. and I assume later you painted the body? is that right.

Wow I am glad to see this thread back on page 1. Yeah i didn't want to have to pull the motor and all the tin back out so i panted it first. The car should be pretty violent and i wanted to get fome seat time in before painting the outside. I figured it would be better to kiss the wall with the car in primer than with a bang up paint job. The color looks so good i cant wait to see the whole car in blue.

Thanks for the comment Matt
