Halo Guys,
I had some more time to work on the beetle last night.
Fuel injection is fitted, and wired.Need to ad 1 positive wire for the ECU,and then i`am completely done with it.
The Oil cooler lines are being made as we speak.Should be finished tomorrow night if all goes well.
I have a feeling its going to cost a packet,as they need to be SS Braided, passing next to the exhaust.
Tonight i will finally be able to polish up the intake manifold, after all of the work sanding it.I think its going to look very pretty!
Will update again in the morning, with some pics of the progress.

Good Morning Guys.
So last night it was me and the Buff.
I got quite far with it,the rest will have to be done with a small hand held Buff.As the one i have access to doesnt have enough space for the bulky manifold.
My one friend is a jewler, and he has these lovely machines that he uses. The neat the is i can use them too if needed!
Pics or GTFO!hahahaha
1.The lovely machine I got to use..Has excellent light, (twin globes) and extraction fans.
2.Man cant live on food alone!
3.Top View of the manifold
4.Side view of the manifold.
5.Before shot of the manifold, for reference.
Its not perfect, but the rest of the 33 year old car isnt either. So i`am happy!
Opinions welcome,even if not positive.

*Edit* Damnit, the order of the pics are all screwed up,but you get the idea right?

If all goes well yes,or perhaps the second one.
Dont think it will be completely mapped by die 7th of Jan though, which is normally about the 1st track day.Think it will be ready for the middle january one!
Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Hi Guys.
Here is an update !
I finally got the oil cooler pipes on Friday. In the end it came to the sum of US $308 to have the lines made.
Pipe has Teflon on the inside, and is extremely flexable.I feel they asked to much, but the owner of the shop says its the best stainless braided pipe money can buy.Should be ok for old herby eh?Cooler is mounted, and ready for action.
I finished up the tank outlet fitting for the EFI pump.I took a connector used on a Nikki, and modified the hell out of it,untill it was right for the aplication.
Cuzz helped me with a banjo fitting for the fuel pump oulet, the exit size is 8mm,right for the pipe i will be using! Thanks Cuzz!!
So here are some pics of it all!
