Which oil pan fits in an rx2? I have a TII with a 12a front cover. People say the gsl-se, but isn't the sump for a gsl-se in the front and not in the rear? I need the sump in the rear, thanks guy.

 

any pre-86 13-B oil pan will fit except:
1. you have to flip the pan around.
2. drill new holes in the front and rear of the pan.
3. modify the oil pick up tube. it has to be facing the rear and long enough to reach the oil sump.

 

I used a rx4 front cover and a gslse pan turned around, remember though you have to
make a oil pickup to work with this, it has to be longer.

I had already made an oil pickup. Maybe I didn't have the front cover bolted on tight, because I could've sworn that this pan fit before, with only like 4 holes that needed to be drilled.

 

 

that's about want i made I used a rx4 flange side and a rx7 strainer
of which the rx7 pipe fit inside of the rx4 pipe which made for a really
nice tig weld
