Married with children mate.

FE RX-8 family car. JC Cosmo weekender. Mini-Scarab getaway boat. No more journo work. steady day job. No extra time "to play"

You lose touch with "the scene"

However, 6 years ago, I did a story on a HB Cosmo drag car in NZ called "4DRAGS" (for drags) that was a fully gutted 13B-T road/race registered machine. This could be the same car 6-years on.

Then there is that scammer from 3rotor.con When he did the runner from Australia back to NZ in 2003, he took a HB Cosmo with him & this could be the same Cosmo after 5-years of low key building.

Dave thats a nice collection you have there, but I'm a sucker for a nice JC

Lance was building several cars at the same time, IBM must have been paying alot of money at the time or the sale of your parts when to fund some of his projects...
About that boat... They say the best time's in owning a boat is the first day you get it and the day you sell it Is that a true saying??

Please pass on the "Wow" to Grant on his great choice of car to turn into a drag racer...........

I am pretty sure the 3rotor.con guy took the HB as it went with the JC months before he did that runner. I think he knew the net was closing hence why the cars where packed & sent before they could be found & seized.

Worked hard for the collection & with a 7.4lt V8 sucking from 600lt of fuel tank. Its around AU$1000 to fill at current petrol pricing........

So I guess, the day its sold will be a relief on the wallet..........
