HAHA. I am going to be running the suspention off of a 600 mini sprint car. It is full coilovers and with the GSL-Se lsd it will be a screamer.

Is it actually gonna have a working blade to cut grass on it? That would be sick, except you're lawn would look like a ATV rally just took place on it. Kinda defeats the purpose. You'd be shooting 30 foot high mud rooster tails.

Mower deck? What mower deck? haha.

I tell everyone it is going to mow the lawn with the tires.

Where can you get those Sachs motors?

The sachs engines are pretty hard to find nowdays, check this video out a rideon lawnmower with a sachs km48 engine, the km48s are a 160cc bridgeport single rotor engine, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adJg_SVZ0i0
We stuck a km914a the same as warwickben is using in his gocart after this video was shot and it was completely rediculous it would step out sideways and you couldnt keep it straight but the drivebelts would only last about a 100m and it would all be over, should be a real laugh with a 12a in one!

ebay the 303cc used in snow mobiles and bikes i belive.
i dont think it can be run side ways or up and down like a normal mower would.
i was going to copy a idea from a member on this site. but change it. you run a double pulley on the eshaft, and one on the rear end axel. then you use a belt tensioner (sp?)to tighten the belt to engage drive. i am going to have the norm gas pedal and break. then on the momo wheel i got for free have a hand break working the tensioner. so when its pulled fully in its like you foot is on the clutch pedal.

there pp stock and some people have used turbos on them. the only down side is the gas/intake charge cool's the motor but heats up the gas/intake. then goes into the p port. but i have seen people work around this and figured out a way to force fresh air in to the motor to cool it.

The sachs engines can run on any angle you like its only the carb that needs to be replaced,if you throw the factory bing carb in the bin and get a tillotson pumper style carb you can run them any way you like, you also gain hp by using the pumper style carb and improve idle, If you want to go down the turbo road, from experience I suggest running a blow threw carb setup with an intercooler and use methonal fuel mixture or water meth injection to keep the intake charge as cool as possible,
