You could catch a cheap plane flight down here to Tampa on Friday and ride with me to the 1/4 mile track to see one and talk to the guy that built it if you want to. It runs solid 12s with a stock ported 13b NA on the back of it. The guy built the wheelie bars on the back of it and has absolutley destroyed local fools in Z06 vettes. Not bad for 150 hp on a 1100 lb chassis.

A Kennedy adapter is a custom plate that allows you to bolt a rotary (or other engine), to a VW tranny. Their website is: http://www.kennedyeng.com.

or if you don't give a toss about the life of the engine, just bolt the rear diff directly onto the gearbox (the bearings might not like it, but who cares?!?!) you could then put a seat above the diff, have the gearstick between your legs, and then try to figure out some way of steering the bastard!!!
