Weird. What front-wheel-drive transmission mates up to a rotary?
I really want to know that...
My reasons are my own ^_^

i've seen a 90's tercel with a 12A swapped in.... very kool, had ITB's and a hole cut out for the hood to allow a ram air effect to the ITB's... and the header went under the motor and through the center of the car out the back....

rotary fwd

Here in Puerto Rico I have seen also a Toyota Tercel with a bridge ported 12A. They used the stock transmission and fabricated an adapter to make it work. Also I have seen a Suzuki SA310 converted to RWD with a 12A. We put rotary engines into anything including a Jet Ski. I haven't seen that one but heard about it.

You could try talking to Kennedy Engineering about engine adapters if you are serious.

Kennedy made the adpater for my turbo rotary 911 Porsche. Their products are great. But you would have to call about a rotary to a contour.
