Just picked this up today 300 bucks couldnt say no complete interior all trim pretty straight no motor no trans needs some rust repair in the battery tray area pretty stoked to start work on here

Its got green interior hopefully going in the garage this week for some rust reapair my biggest set back is trying to find a hood and gas tank door

Is this the one from the Seattle area? That thing needed serious fwd frame repairs, but the rest of the description was the same. And, it was listed for $1500.... People are funny. $1500 for a rusted to crap, no eng/trans car that I can't get parts for? Quit it.

Same car the frame repair will be a pretty ez fix there is a inter structure in side of the rails camano rx2 i did not pay 1500 for it i got it for 300 next time keep ur. Bad attitude comments to ur self

Not a bad attitude- It's called reality on reality's terms. He asked $1500, you paid $300. Its an unobtainium car when it comes to parts (ask anyone searching for Rx4 stuff- oh and welcome to our very small club), and since I HAVE one, few know better than me. Again, welcome to the search for stuff you need. Hope you are a patient person, with plenty of time and money. Sorry- was that too negative for you?

I guess its a good thing i dont need that much a hood and gas tank door is about the biggest thing i need found a 12a and a 4 speed unless i find another set up this will be what powers this thing started working on the frame rail will update pics when i get some metal and start reconstructing it

I totally agree! If I'd been in town, I'd have picked it up for sure. There was one matching this decription on craigslist several months ago, and could never get any response when we called. Must be this car.

Little update started work onthe frame rail went and picked up a donor car for the motor and tranny

The rx7 believie it or not got it home pulled the plugs put some lube in the housings rolled it over put the plugs back in went and got a cap rotor and coils ans started it actually runs pretty good sounds ported but i wont know for sure tell i pull it out now i need to find a 12a header and 4 barrel intake

She fits had to cut the shifter hole so a custom shifter is in order and need to slot the tranny xmember holes but factory drive line fits will deff update more rhis week

Well got the tranny all bolted up tool me almost a full moded x member and a hour to realize i had it in back wards luckily after i figued it was backwards it bolted right in drive line also fits almost finished with the frame rail repair not really happy how thats turning out but later on if i can find a parts car ill just graft a whole new rail in it really hoping to have it going for summmer to just cruise if any body out there has a engine wiring diagram for a rx4 with the wire colors and deciding them i would love some pics of it so i can get it wired and try and fire it in this chassis

Why do you need a 4 barrel intake? The Rx7 came with one... Are you looking for one from Racing Beat? I know I have about 6 12a headers in my shop- your issue will be how it fits your Rx4. They aren't all the same. I'm also surprised the overall length of the Rx4/4speed vs. Rx7/5 speed are so close. I had to mod the holes for the engine mounts in my Rx2 when I went with the 13b

Nice to see people with time to devote to their cars. Sadly, thats not me currently.

The motor and teanny bolted right up using the origanal 13b fron mount and the factory tranny x member no drilling only cuttin was in the shifter hole i want the intake to put a holley 600 i would love a header if its for a rx7 it should be good i have the stock mani all the way back to the cat and it fits perfect i will upload some more pics of it mounted and the shifter

Does anybody have a 81 rx7 engine wiring diagrahm with a break down of what wire colors go to what same with a 76 rx4 iv got some of the stuff figured out but really need some help
