1974 RX-4 Build

Building a 74' RX-4 for a customer. Current setup so far is a 13b Streetport, new rotor housings, all new seals and gaskets, Webber 48IDA, Electronic distributor, custom exhaust consisting of 3'' 304SS, V-bang clamp, Racing Beat 3'' Muffler, 3/4 length primary tubes, Racing Beat DIY header Kit w/ flat black ceramic coating, Aluminum flywheel with ACT clutch, 1st gen RX-7 Front suspension with roll center correctors, adjustable ride height perches and Camber plates, 81'+ rear axle w/ lowering blocks. There is still a lot of work to complete. Hoping to have this thing ready by Sevenstock/Mazfest. What do you think?

RE Speed Camber plates, With 1st gen Struts, housings and Brakes. The 1st gen brakes were touching the lower control arm. The roll center corrector was added to space down the LCA for clearance and to fix some of the suspension geometry due to lowering the car. Yes it is still 4x110.

This car reminds me a lot of my Rx-4. That exhaust will sound nice and deep.

Sorry for the lack of updates. We have been super busy in the shop. Car is just about completed. We need a few more street miles before going on the dyno. Engine feels really strong and we are hoping for close to 200whp. Engine is 13B, Mild street port, Weber 48 Downdraft. Here is a pic of the car and a short video.

Well done on your restoration.
Good to see RX4 coupe's being restored - muscle car of the early rotaries.

It was until he got a lot of exhaust too loud tickets. We had to put a 3'' Primaflow muffler on it to quiet it down. Still fast just less noise. CHP and Rotaries don't get along.
