Do you have torque estimates? As has been said already, truly remarkable and amazing, especailly to a mere mortal like myself that has trouble just keeping track of my wrenches and sockets!

We ran it for a total of probably an hour going through several cycles of letting it warm up and cool and running it at different rpm.

We took it apart and inspected it and it looks brand new like it has not been started yet.
some of the time I ran it on premix some of the time just raw gas

Now it is back together and I'm on the way to Orlando fl for the pri show.
The next step is buy everything to have it turbocharged ready for the dyno, I will start out dynoing it naturally aspirated but want to have it ready to dyno turbo with only a few hours of bolting stuff on it. I added up all the parts I need to be able to dyno it and they come to around 46k so I guess I need to sell another kidney so I can finish it.

Right now its weight is around 890 lbs but there are some things we did not machine out that we're just going to be machined for weight savings and on this engine I did not want to waste more time machining for the prototype, the program says it will weight 830 lbs if we machined it according to the program.

How heavy is that 830lbs. compared to the piston engines you use in the boats, making same the power that you hope to have this putting out?

Is the geometry based on probing out a Mazda housing bore? There was some mention of geometry generation earlier. Understandable if this is your "trade secret" and don't want to elaborate.

No it's not off of measuring a Mazda housing, and it's not from the formula they use for there shape , ours is close enough that we can use a factory rotor but we made some changes that we think will make the apex seals and coatings on the rotor housing last longer

just cleaning up the engine in the booth at PRI show earlier and the show is just in setup phase and there was a big crowd around the engine. And people were comming over that had heard other people talking about it so they could see it, so I think this is going to be a good show for the engine.

Do you have any idea how much the engine will cost in N/A if you going to sell it?

And for you seen as though you built it. Any chance of bringing it to the uk? (we can only hope)

I have a guy that is doing the london to montecarlo offshore boat race that is going to run three of these engines in his boat and I will probably bring a spare engine over there. but that race is not till 2013.
