Why... oh why must I be so dumb...

Okay, so today I was feeling ambitious so decided to finally really fix my timing.
That involved restabbing the CAS, not too hard after I found out how to do it. So *finally* the L1 is at the yellow mark on the pulley (was quite a bit off), sweet.... but its idling at 1200rpm, used to be at 1000... oh well take it for a test drive. Finally some nice acceleration!
So I go and decide I want to bring the idle back down a little... so i start unscrewing the idle adjustment screw on the throttle body (emissions removed) then it starts to do its dumb little pulsing thing (everyone at the helen's run knows what I'm talking about). GRRRR~! So... I am like fuq it, I will just make it idle high at 1200. Now I can't find the freaking place I had that damn screw!!!! It either is pulsing when it idles, or is at like 1500 running extremely rough. Bah~!

check your TPS. Dunno how to adjust on the S5 but on the S3 and S4 you use the double 12vDC lights on the connector by the AFM. Should have counted how many rotations before you adjusted.....o well

TPS is fine. I know I should have counted, but its acting better now.
I just stabbed the CAS again, and it pulls hard again... it kinda pulses slightly when ya have the clutch down, but not as bad as the helens run, not that noticable. I dunno, most likely going standalone soon... so I can see what all the sensors are telling me rather than just being oblivious.

Kouta, when i first got my car running, it pulsed up and down about 750 rpm, slowly got better, after i set the tps at 1 ohm or whatever it is. Also anytime you adjust the idle get it to where you want it and just let it idle for 3 minutes or so, that way the ecu can relearn everything. Now she idles rock steady at 850. Some of my problem was related to the motor sitting for a while, the more it ran the smoother it got. I think my injectors were pretty dirty. I dont know the whole story on you motor, but it wouldn't hurt to get the primary injectors serviced, it runs about 25 bucks a injectors. Also run good 92 octane gas, dont get the cheap stuff. Hopefully it will smooth out for you.
Can you bring the intercooler to Izzy's if you still have it. Thanks
